Local-Only Operation

Every Diamond SmartTech system is designed to operate entirely within your local network. Your smart home automations, device states, sensor readings, camera feeds, and usage patterns are processed on your Privacy Hub — a physical device installed in your home — and never transmitted to external servers.

No cloud servers — Your data never leaves your home network
No third-party integrations that require cloud accounts (unless you explicitly choose to add them)
No telemetry — We do not collect usage statistics or diagnostic data from your system
No remote access — We cannot access your system without your explicit, session-by-session authorization

What Data Diamond SmartTech Collects

When you purchase products or services from us, we collect only what is necessary to fulfill your order and provide support:

Name, email address, and shipping address for order fulfillment
Payment information (processed securely by Shopify — we never see your full card details)
Communication history for support purposes

This data is used solely to serve you and is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your Home Automation Data

We have zero access to your home automation data. Device states, automation logs, camera footage, presence detection, and all other smart home data reside exclusively on your local Privacy Hub. You own it completely.

Open Source Transparency

Our systems are built on open-source software (Home Assistant, Z-Wave JS, Zigbee2MQTT, and others). You can inspect, audit, and verify exactly what software is running in your home at any time.
